"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles...
For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over in to our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows! 2 Cor 1: 3 - 5

  2. Liette, you don't know me, but I knew Dave and his brothers many years ago when we all attended Salvation Army camps together. I have been unaware until today of the journey you, David and your children have been travelling through the progress of his illness. My prayers will continue to uplift you and your family in the coming days, and I know God will keep you comforted in the knowledge that Dave is now sitting at his side.

  3. Thank you so much for travelling through illness with me, being so transparent and open - we are truly one, as Jesus prayed in John 17, and this oneness just continues as one becomes closer and more intimate with Our Spouse, Jesus. Be well comforted in our Oneness and unity in Him. Love, Jan, Citadel, Montreal.

  4. You don't know me, Liette, but I am a friend of David's Aunt Ada Moyles and have been following David's blog for some time now. I only got back from vacation and today read of David's passing.
Many of us have prayed for God's healing for David but it was not to be. How I have admired the faith, love and strength you both have shown. I just pray now that God will give your family comfort and strength in the days ahead. God bless you.
