This morning Dave's platelets count was too low to do the operation for risk of bleeding.A test result still to come would point to the cause and best treatment. Maybe tomorrow ... So we wait. New things pop up. The unknown.

The Journey
When I first learned that I had cancer, it didn't seem too serious. The tumour was just beneath the skin, so the surgeon took it out and I started taking treatments to prevent a relapse. However, in January 2009, I found out out that the treatments weren't working and I have new tumours. There is no medical cure, only therapies that may slow the disease down. These work in about 30% of the cases. If they don't work, I can expect to die in 1 to 2 years.
