Charles Lemoyne Hospital

We often hear of problems with the health system but I have nothing but praise for the hospital where I am being treated.

I am amazed at the number and variety of professions involved in my case: oncologist, orthopedist, radiologist, physio-therapist, ergotherapist, technicians of various kinds, nurses and orderlies, not to mention all the support services. Everyone is friendly and helpful and everything is oriented towards the health and comfort of the patient.

I am really thankful for the quality of care I'm getting here. I'm even beginning to enjoy the food!

The photo at the top is by my son Jeremy. It shows the rays of hope shining out from the hospital. The crane on the right is for the construction of the new Monteregie Integrated Cancer Centre.(Liette calls the photo "The Glory and the Cross").

  1. The picture is such a sign of God with you all! That your son was there to catch it; that your family can see God in the hospital care-givers and see Him reflected in the glory of the sun and the shape of the crane is so encouraging to me! You really do let him talk to you through your physical surroundings and you have communicated that to your family and now your "extended" family. Thank you so much for sharing this picture. 2. Bon courage Dave! Nice photo and I'm glad to hear that the medical staff are treating you well.
My wife's father is/was a medical doctor and he had contracted cancer. He passed away at the age of 65, a few years ago. Whatever the length of our lives, the important thing is that we live it well for the days the Lord has given us, and being blessed to be reconciled to Him.
